Deregistering Hostinger
You can cancel your account directly in cPanel. First, log in to your account and click on the “Hosting” tab at the top of the screen. Then, scroll down to the “Other” area at the bottom of the screen and click on “Deactivate Account.”
Receive a refund from Hostinger
All Hostinger plans come with a 30-day money-back guarantee.
The only exception is that Bitcoin payments are non-refundable. If you participated in a free trial and made your first payment after the trial ended, this is also non-refundable.
Likewise, some products and services are non-refundable , such as exchange fees and domain renewals. If you opted to purchase privacy protection, G suite, or SEO tools, these are also non-refundable.
After canceling my account, I didn’t receive any information regarding a refund, so I contacted customer service. They processed my request after I explained that a simple five-minute installation took four hours
The process is simple, but requires additional communication
All in all, I felt that the process of canceling my account and requesting a refund was quick and easy. However, it was not foolproof. I was not happy that I had to contact customer service to inquire about my refund, and they did not communicate with me about the cancellation, as if I, as a customer, was not important.
